BreakfixŽ began as a family brainstorm four years ago during a cross-country road trip through the
heartland of America. In our mini-van, myself, my wife Robin, and our three kids, Zach, Ben and Elle,
enjoyed a great adventure. As a way to make the adventure more fun, my wife and I tried to come
up with a product idea that would demonstrate to the kids the process necessary to bring a new
product to market. And, as "luck" would have it, we stumbled onto a real problem that needed a real
solution.

The catalyst for the BreakfixŽ Cereal Dispenser occurred at a motel in a small town in Iowa. After a
restful night, the family assembled the next morning in the lobby for the "continental breakfast"
which consisted of the choice of cereal, toast, or donuts. The cereal was being offered in a plastic bin
and was both crushed and stale. Also, adding to the diminishing desire to eat the cereal, guests had
to stick their hands into the bin to scoop the cereal out. Although that morning everyone ate donuts,
we all decided to take a look at how we might help travelors like ourselves eat better on the road and
at home.

We knew cereal was an important food to eat every day and we knew that we skipped breakfast all
the time. We felt like we needed a better tool to solve this problem.....that is when the idea of
BreakfixŽ was born! From that moment forward we set out to make a better cereal dispenser, one
that is cool looking, faster, fresher, and most of all, a healthy reminder that breakfast and cereal are
key components to keeping fit for life!

Since that time, we at Breakfix Cereal Dispensers, Inc. have worked diligently to build a product and a
team that offers your business a better solution for your cereal needs.
